I am a stay at home mommy who thought I would have plenty of time to devote to watching what I eat and exercising. Now I realize that it is hard being at home because there are many food temptations and I always get too busy doing something else rather than making it to my workout space. I gained 45 pounds with my first baby (who is now two years old) and only lost 25 after she was born. I have 20 pounds to lose to be where I was before she was born and I would like to lose another 10 on top of that. I joined this site to find encouragement from other people and to find some accountability for my own actions.

Craving become worst
You always weigh more at night than in the morning. I like to use the morning weight because it is less Smile. It doesn't really matter which weight you choose (morning or evening weight), just stick with weighing yourself at the same time of day each week to see how much you lose. Also, I use to weigh every day and it got me very down in the dumps cause there was so much fluctuation. Now I try to weigh in once a week and I usually see at 1 lb lost. As far as eating goes, what helps me is writing it down in the fatsecrect journal. If I know I have to write it down, I will be more careful about what I eat. Any time you feel a craving, grab your water or a piece of gum. You can do it!!! Don't get discouraged!!!

Weight Watcher points
thanks so much for your input... I count points carefully as that is what has been helpful for me. I was curious about the accuracy of this site vs. my slider. Now, I will try to be more careful about watching... Thanks again!!!

The Weight Watchers Plan...Guidelines to follow
Thanks for all the info. I lost 20lbs on WW 5 years ago before my husband and I got married (I had to return my wedding dress and get one a few sizes smaller). Now I have a two year old and 25-40 pounds to lose. WW really works, you just have to stick with it and writing EVERYTHING down that I eat has been a HUGE help for me. My father-in-law is in family practice and WW is the one plan he really approves of because it is all about watching what you eat, how much you eat, and exercise. Just starting out again with the plan, but I already have more energy and feel better about myself...

Nursing mommies wanting to lost weight???
Hi all,

I have a 12 month old and have 20+ pounds I would like to lose. I am still a nursing mommy and am trying to lose the weight slowly, but steadily while still maintaining a milk supply while I wean my munchkin. I lost 20 pounds on WW almost 5 years ago (before I got married). So, I know it can be done... Want to do it again and want to see if there are any other nursing moms on WW out there. Good luck to all of you on your goals.. Just looking through this website has been encouraging!!! Very Happy
