I'm a 57yo Grandma of 4 little girls & I want to get in shape so I can do active things with them & not be sitting on the side lines watching them. Last year I did a Half Marathon after losing 65lbs & realized I still had work to do(like another 50lbs loss)if I wanted to put that kind of stress on my legs. I had knee surgery a few yrs ago & have thyroid problems that slow things down also, but I'm not letting it stop me. My husband & I love hiking, biking & kayaking so there is too much to lose by not losing the weight. I know what I have to do...I just have to keep at it!
