33 year old mother of 2 great teens... married to the worlds number one greatest man alive...
Over a year ago, I found out that I have a rare brain condition called Chiari's Malformation type I. It is where part of my brain, the tonsils (which I was unaware that a brain had until my diagnosis), have passed through the opening of my skull into my neck. I require brain surgery to remove part of the skull, and put a sling on my brain to keep it where it belongs... BUT, since it's pretty rare, most doctors are scared to even consider it. I did find a CM specialist in my area, and he was all ready for the surgery, had me go for all of my scans and bloodwork... and then I got into a minor car accident. I'm okay from that, but it did a little damage to my neck. The doctor decided to not do the surgery after that.
And I can't find another decent doctor that I'm comfortable with poking into my brains.
When I was diagnosed, I was told to severely limit my exercise to doing push ups against a wall and things that can be done from my couch (vertigo and exertion HAs from the condition). I took that as free reign to stop all exercise and eat whatever the hell I wanted. Because I felt like 110% crap (also from the brains), I lost all healthy eating focus that I had (which was not much to start with).
And then (like I need more, right?), I quit smoking this past September.
So here I am now, a non smoker who's brains are big n juicy (:-D) and who's butt seems to be ever expanding.
I have a blog for my chiari's at http://bigsexybrain.wordpress....
And I'm also a Coupon wiz... known as the CoupoNinja (see me at www.thecouponinja.com).
And now, I also come fully equip with a Dieting/exercising/randoming/g... blog! http://ambyrcan.tumblr.com/
