I weighed about 163 when I turned 40 in Nov. 2011, and decided I wanted to be 40 and fabulous, not 40 and frumpy, so I started Atkins in March 2012. I lost down to about 140 by July and felt great, and started gradually adding back in some carbs to find my lifetime carb level. Unfortunately, I added back in too many, and then the holidays came, and by Jan. 2013 I had gained back to almost 152! Depressing, I know. My first round through Atkins I didn't worry much about exercise because the weight seemed to come off anyway, but this time around it's being stubborn. I started kickboxing in Dec. 2012, and I really enjoy it, I'm hoping it will give me the boost I need, along with keeping my NC/day at about 35. I'd like to get all the way to about 135, where I haven't been since I was 14 yrs. old. It's slow going; here's to keeping up the motivation!

recipie question
I've submitted multiple recipes, and they all stay in either Pending or Awaiting Approval. I still find it helpful to put them in, because I print them out and put them in a recipe binder, and it makes it easy to add to the Food Diary for tracking. The tip on "Don't Share" is very helpful, I'll try that! It is frustrating not to be able to go back and modify, thanks!

looking for buddies....
I've been on Atkins for about a year now, I got a little too comfortable adding carbs back in during Pre-Maintenance and cheating during the holidays, so I'm trying to get back on track with watching my carbs and exercising regularly. I'd love to keep in touch with you and share support!
