Great breakfast for this cold morning. Oatmeal with a little butter and Splenda with a slice of Keto Toast.

Dinner for my meatless Monday. Cabbage with Chat Masala seasoning and sweet potato both cooked in the pressure cooker, along with a couple slices of keto toast. Just trying to really restrict the protein now. Serious low back pain for a few weeks and my kidney filtration numbers have tanked. An ultrasound last week shows fluid build up which is indicative of kidney stones. So I'm seeing a urologist tomorrow. Hopefully, the pain and poor kidney tests are a result of a kidney stone that can be dealt with quickly. I hope y'all have a wonderful week.

Saw the doctor on Monday. This was my weigh-in weight at their office. Caloric intake has been under control, but too many carbs and too much alcohol while in the Bahamas. Exercise has been limited due to my back injury, although I did manage two scuba dives one day, snorkeling another day, two days of 5 - 7 mile bike rides, one day sea kayaking, some walking and one day sailing on a catamaran. None of those were very vigorous exercise though. I've been sleeping a LOT. I just got a prescription for a muscle relaxer for my back, so maybe I'll be able to up my activity level somewhat. Still struggling to keep my protein below 80 gm per day. My wellness doctor wants me to increase my daily caloric intake but to limit carbs to keep my weight in check; my nephrologist wants me to limit protein to help with my chronic kidney disease; and my GP wants me to limit fat to keep my cholesterol in check. That pretty much just leaves gravel as a food source.
