For as long as I can remember I have always thought of myself as chubby/fat. When I look back at pictures of myself, I see that the only time I was ever really heavy was in college (around 172 pounds at 5'2"). After college I took up running and joined a runner's club at work. I lost my extra weight and got back down to my 135 pounds but was much leaner and fit into smaller sizes than I did in high school.
After I had my first child, I lost even more weight without trying much because of the breastfeeding and training for races, so after having my first child I was at my lightest (121 pounds).
Now, at 41 years old, married and with a second child (5 yr) it is so much more of a struggle for me to lose weight. My eating habits have gotten better with the help of THIS SITE! The exercise part is not hard for me becasue I LOVE running.
But,I'm hoping by using this site and the calorie counter app on my phone I can shed my extra weight and keep it OFF so I can get my running times back down.
