Hey there! Well I have been fighting my weight since I was in junior high, so this is a life-long battle for me I'm afraid. I have bounced from 180 lbs to 250 lbs when I was pregnant with my daughter. I would love to find a way to stablize my weight lose without the constant yo-yoing affect I always seem to experience. Thus, my enthusiasm to join this site - hopefully I have finally foudn the help and support I need to live a healthy and happy lifestyle. Ideally my goal right now is 180, I felt good at that weight, so for starters I am shooting for that and hoping I can go beyond that once that goal is reached. Wouldn't be awesome to get down to 130?!!! I've never even been close to that and just once would like to say, just once I was skinny and beautiful. :)

Drinking yes? or a no no?
One word - Very Berry Martini, okay that's three I guess. Awesome drink and low in cals!! I make this drink a lot at parties and it is always a hit! Hope you like it! Smile

Here is the recipe:

-1 tub CRYSTAL LIGHT Raspberry Ice Flavor Low Calorie
Soft Drink Mix
-2 cups water
-2 cups reduced calorie cranberry juice
-1/2 cup vodka
-2 cups club soda or sparkling water
-6 frozen raspberries

EMPTY drink mix into large pitcher.

ADD water, cranberry juice and vodka; stir until drink mix is completely dissolved. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled.

STIR in club soda just before serving. Spoon raspberries evenly into 6 martini glasses; top with the beverage mixture.

(And just an FYI, shots are loaded with calories.)

Diet Calendar
Help!! Can anyone tell me how to interpret the diet calendar? What are kcals? I mean if kcals are calories, then I should be dropping a ton of weight according to how many I am supposedly burning throughout the day.
