I'm a 28 year old desk jockey. That's not a good way of saying it -- I really love my job! Finally, after eating right and exercising for nearly 6 months, I've lost 29 pounds. I'm due again for measurements in 3 weeks and I'm sure I'll continue to see good results.
I'm tired of being overweight and want to learn a better way of doing things. This community has provided an amazing amount of good mojo so far and I hope to return the favor, so please feel free to add me to your buddy list.
I travel a ton for work so eating right and working out on the road is always a challenge. Plus, I am very good at convincing myself that a handful of popcorn or a glass of wine while making dinner won't really matter.
I see a personal trainer twice a week -- it's not cheap, but it's worth it! For once in my life I know how long, how much, and how often to exercise! (The answer, for you curious folk, is 60 minutes of cardio at 60-80% of my maximum heart rate every day in addition to two sessions with her each week.)
My super thin, high metabolism husband and I live with our two dogs in the Los Angeles area.
