I soak and dehydrate my nuts for that same reason! There is so little that I can eat that I added nuts as a protein substitute on days that I cannot eat meat. I am allergic to dairy and I never eat fruit...I have to eat something Smile thanks for your help, I have had my blood work done and will get some feedback on it Friday.

You are seeing total carbs and not net carbs, if there is a way to show net carbs let me know. I see them in my daily entries, but in the calendar carbs are listed as total. My net carbs are always below or at 20, sometimes lower and I have thought about lowering them more. I also check my blood sugars regularly to see how food reacts even low carb. Yes you are right about the water and I fill a pitcher with it and make sure I drink it all...64oz

Still trying to lose
Yes I keep changing my calorie counts, the problem is I get sick (dizzy, nauseous, headache) when my calories are lower (1400 or less)and I didn't lose weight when I did that for extended periods...just felt terrible. If I count calories I should lose 2 lbs a week eating 1600...but that never happened. I am experiencing adrenal/cortisol and hormonal imbalances, lots of stress and extended work hours (I'm a musician and often work very late at night and then early in the morning as well. I do appreciate everyone's input. This has been going on for over a year now as far as my health issues and the weight gain. Weight as been about the same since Dec. at least not gaining since then, but I had hoped to lose most of the 30lbs I wanted to lose.
