Just a mom of two with a bad family medical history, trying to lose weight to avoid future problems.
Started kicking myself into gear on July 20th, 2011. I'd hit 194.3 and decided enough was enough. It was time to start taking care of myself, if not for me, then for my 2 boys (7 yrs and 3). I have a family history of heart disease, strokes, heart attacks, and diabetes. To save myself a lot of trouble in my up coming years, I decided it was time to start putting my health a little higher on the priorities list.

GOALS: Based on 5' 3 1/2'' inches
Overweight- 172: Smashed through this this morning when I weighed in at 169.9 :) 4/30/13
High normal- 143:
Dream weight- 125:
Lowest normal- 106.1: I think this would be way too tiny for me, lowest I ever was was 118
Some interesting BMI formulas I found:
Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 129.3 lbs
Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 134.8 lbs
Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 128.0 lbs
Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 126.7 lbs
Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 106.1 lbs - 143.4 lbs
According to the new BMI calculations, 137 is the heaviest I can be to be in the normal category, and 101 is the lowest I can be.
