The weight loss process can be frustratingly slow. I guess I should be happy with the loss, and I am, but I was a pound lighter a day ago. Had a purchased gyro salad for dinner yesterday, it probably was high in salt. Anyway a loss is a loss. When I got serious about losing weight a couple months ago I'd envisioned the pounds coming off so much more quickly than they have. Gotta follow my own advice, a loss is a loss.

In a few minutes I'm going to do a workout on the elliptical, I'm in a 16:8 fast, I plan to do the same thing tomorrow. Tomorrow night we're going to see Pirates of Penzance at the dinner theater so I'll prepare for that by eating very light tomorrow during the day and I'll be thoughtful about what goes on my plate for dinner. Other than that no parties or celebrations planned this holiday weekend which is good. I don't want to spend the first 2 or 3 days of next week in "recovery mode" from a weekend of not following my plan.

Hoping everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July weekend.

I feel the same frustration at times about how quickly I can put the pounds on and how painfully slow it can be to remove them. I have to keep myself from getting discouraged at times by reminding myself that a lb is more than just the #1,2 it is equal to roughly the size of 16oz so visually a can of veges! Keep up the good work.
