i had a huge meal last night because I had to fast all morning for an abdominal scan so this weight could be food and water weight included. oh and I had an ice-cream which wouldn't have helpedm
119.0 lb Lost so far: 48.5 lb.    Still to go: 2.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yep off to bed now at 9:15 pm and unless a little one wakes I should get a bit over 8h off sleep!

Did they tell you it would be best for you to sleep on your left side then? Here is why... T he Lymph Drains toward the Left Interestingly, the left side of the body is the dominant lymphatic side. The majority of the body’s lymph fluid drains into the thoracic duct, located on the left side. Along the way, lymph fluid carrying proteins, glucose and other metabolites and waste products is purified by lymph nodes and is then drained into the left side of the heart. Because of this, it is common in Ayurveda to deduce that left side ailments may be due to chronic lymphatic congestion. When the lymphatic system congests, it is more likely that lymph will back up on the left, more lymph-dominant side of the body. Whether or not this is always true is debatable, but you can see the logic at play here. In the same non-scientific vein, issues that show up on the right side are thought to be due to imbalances in the liver and blood. Since the liver is on the right side of the body, liver congestion will more easily back up into the right side of the body and potentially cause problems.

I wouldn't worry about it either, Njashka8! Just continue to watch what you eat and exercise. So proud of you!!!!

Thanks iamachristianjesusfreak! I haven't heard that but it does make sense. I am happy for any advice to take some load off my liver!
