I want to add what I learned last night. I went out on a limb and had one beer yesterday while visiting a friend. It tasted delicious and I really enjoyed it. However, by the time I got home, I felt bloated and was having acid reflux. I also got the munchies and had a full serving a low-carb cheesecake which put me way over my calories for the day. I woke up this morning still having acid reflux and had to eat a couple of tums. This is the first time I have had bad reflux since I stopped taking my daily dose of prilosec 6 weeks ago. Lesson learned, no more beer!
