Stuffed Pasta with Tomato Sauce
A very simple rustic pasta with tomato sauce recipe.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place garlic and tomatoes on backing sheet. Spray lightly with olive oil cooking spray. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and salt & pepper to taste.
- Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) until garlic and tomatoes are tender - about 20 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to directions on package. Save approximately a quarter to half a cup of the pasta cooking liquid and place in a bowl.
- While cooking liquid is still warm, mash the cooked garlic into liquid then slightly mash the tomatoes into liquid to make the sauce. The sauce will be chunky.
- Toss warm pasta into the warm sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and enjoy.
