This is really a quite tasty BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
Directions
- Add all ingredients except the tomato paste and liquid smoke to a saucepan and bring to a simmering boil for 20 minutes.
- Whisk in the tomato paste and liquid smoke and simmer another 10 minutes.
- Makes approximately 2 cups and will keep in the fridge for quite some time.
- Serving size is 2 tablespoons.

The 2 oz of Splenda is actually 1/4 cup.....I could only enter it in ounces. I used only 2 tablespoons of margarine. And next time, I might use a bit less than 1/4 cup of cider vinegar. Tomato Paste is a 6 oz. can. I also omitted the salt.
