Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken
A wonderful fix and forget recipe.
Ingredients
Directions
- Rub oregano, and black pepper over chicken and melt butter in a skillet.
- Brown chicken about 3 minutes then place in the crock pot.
- In the same skillet bring lemon juice, water, and chicken bouillon to a boil then pour over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Set crock pot on high and cook for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
- Before serving add parsley. Serve with pasta or brown rice.

This one is realy good and easybto make my kids liked it even and they normally donnot like stuff that is good for them.

Very good..I added a little onion and thickened the liquid with a little cornstarch.

Very yummy! My family loved it! I did cut back on the time quite a bit as slow cookers can vary from machine to machine, so I highly recommend taking the temperature of the chicken to make sure it's at 165. That is when it is fully cooked and won't be too dry.

Not good for industion if you serve with pasta or rice but would be great with some wilted spinach

Ummm . . . am I just missing it - where does the garlic come in? Add it to the lemon juice/water/bouillion mixture?

I think mine cooked too long, so beware. I changed it to Oranges as I am not partial to lemons. That too might have dulled the taste. Mine was dry....:( I will try again
