Sensational and easy crisp dessert that will top off a great meal.
Ingredients
Directions
- Put three cups of peaches in the bottom of a 10x6 inch pan or 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and cinnamon. Then, using an electric mixer cut the soft butter evenly into the dry ingredients.
- Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the fruit. If you prefer more topping, you can make two thin layers of fruit with two layers of topping.
- Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) around 40 minutes to 45 minutes, or until the top is slightly browned. The fruit should feel tender when you test with a toothpick.
- Note: you can use any fruit besides peaches like apples, pears, blueberries, blackberries or fresh plums. Based on a Joan Lunden recipe.

Made this today, but used whole wheat flour instead of white all-purpose. A bit more "earthy" tasting, but not that bad.

Very delicious recipe for your free day when you want something warm and sweet from the oven. Also is fantastic with a blend of blueberries and peaches.

It sounds great, but to many carbs for the Ideal Protein diet. It would have to be eaten on your cheat day.

Sounds delicious, but far too many carbohydrates to be good for a diabetic.
