How Often Do you weigh yourself?
You should think about
why
you're weighing in - there's no money involved, no prestige; it's not for your friends, your kids, for historians - it's
for
you
, to
help
you
. So, if weighing in every day keeps you in check, do it. But if that makes you crazy, maybe less often would work, or maybe you should be measuring your waistline instead. Or think outside the box like Draglist suggested. Do whatever keeps you motivated!

Introduction
Welcome, Farmer!
I'm going to reiterate the other comments on the 1000 calorie plan - that's too few calories for anyone who has 100 pounds to lose. That's probably too few for someone who
weighs
100 pounds! Make sure you're getting enough protein.
Diet is going to be your number 1 tool to lose the weight. Exercise is definitely important, but is more useful for overall health than for weight loss. If you're looking for ideas for exercise, a physical therapist or your doctor should be able to tailor an exercise plan for your specific disability. Without knowledge of your disability, all I can offer is a general statement: whatever strength training and cardio that you can do would be helpful.

Awesome! Congratulations!
Sounds like you're using the best approach for you. Nice thing about the tape measure for me is that it fluctuates a lot less than the scale.

accurate excercise logging/calorie burning tool please
Maybe your body is too efficient, Lisa!
I'm not sure how much faith I'd put in any exercise calculator that didn't keep track of your CICO over time, and adjust the numbers for that. I don't think FS's does that, from what I've seen. (Maybe it does, and it's just not good?)
I've figured out a way to make it work for me, but if I had a good monitor, I'd probably go that way. We got my wife a Fitbit Force for Christmas, and it's working okay. Again, I'm not sure how accurate it is on calories burned, but it's probably better and more reliable than the FS ex-calc. And much easier than manually entering it!
