Current Weight

Performance: Steady

Goal Weight
110.0 lb
Still to go: 4.0 lb
I started my workout at the gym in April of 2014 and a year after, I lost 38lbs. I'm now 114lbs. But, my ideal goal is around 110 lb. I spent longer time in the gym and eat much lesser now, but my weight stays the same. People said I need to build more muscles to help me burn the calories. So, I start do the weight lifting. Also, I have a TaeKwonDo class three days a week. I go to gym every day for 80 minutes unless I was sick that day then I skip the gym.

I'm getting very frustrated to see the loose skins around my waist. And now, I even start my food and exercise journal. Hopefully, I can lose that 4 lbs in about three months.

Any suggestions and advices are welcomed! Thanks all!

80% diet remember! make sure you are getting enough calories and the right ones .
also take your measurements you would be suprised!
hang in there you probably look awsome!

Hi there,
How do I know if I get enough calories? According to the chart, all I need is 1200 calories to maintain current weight. Most of the time, I have about 1100 to 1300 calories a day. I burn about 800 calories a day with all my activities.
People said I look good which makes me feel good. But, I don't know why I feel like I'm fat all the time.
Where do you get your protein normally? Protein shake? Thanks for the comment. Have a nice weekend!Smile

That much exercise is probably building muscle and muscle weighs more that fat. You may notice that while you may be gaining weight you are shrinking in measurements somewhere. I wouldn't be worried just yet. Keep up the good work and change up your exercise routine frequently to keep your metabolism moving along. Warren is right about the refined sugars. Whole grains are best and Stevia is the bomb! Zevia soft drink if you must drink a soda!

yes, I noticed I have some muscles on my abs. In fact, I can see the 6 packs starting to form. Also, my thighs and my shoulders. I spend more time on weight lifting than cardio now. It just bothering me when I see the number goes up while I work really hard to lower it.

Thanks for the encouragement from all of you.Very Happy

Just stick to it, and cut out all sugar, and bread. Stevia a substitute. No sodas.

I don't eat bread at all. Not that I don't like it but I stay away from high carb food. I never like soda. I don't add sugar to coffee.

I can tell you that body type has a lot to do with it. When I was in college, I spent every day working out at the gym. I did Cardio and weights. I also kept a spreadsheet of my food intake. I am 5' 0" tall. The lightest I've ever been as an adult was 111 lbs. I had 16% body fat at the time. I naturally have a thicker build. But according to the "charts" I could have been as low as 95 and not been underweight. There is no way I could have ever achieved that. Perhaps it is time to focus on body composition and stop paying attention on the number on the scale.

Good suggestion! Thank you! I think I feel a little better.Razz
