Weight is holding steady. I was afraid to step on the scale this morning because it had been up to about 275 about a week ago, which shocked me. My clothes have been consistently fitting loose, so I feel like I am overall making good choices. But the silly scale still rules my sense of good or bad, win or lose. Was happy to be back down to my last weigh-in weight. I have been swamped at school, and all the events here in the Boston area have made focus difficult at times. Yesterday I started in to school early, hoping for a full day of painting. I made it about halfway before turning around. It was very strange how little traffic there was on the road at that time of day. Glad things seem to be moving back towards normal again. Lots of sad news to still absorb.

School is wonderful. The days are long and full. There is only about 6 weeks of classes left. That makes me sad, but my work has improved so much over the last seven months. It has definitely been worth it.

I am not focused on losing weight these days. Just trying to stick to eating right. I had one period in February when I started to slip a bit, but soon I was feeling really crappy, so that got me right back on track again, sticking to the foods that make me feel good. My weight has creeped up a few pounds, but now seems to be very steady. Given that I am not really "working" at it, I am satisfied. I would prefer of course to see those pounds dropping, but there is not the time or energy to focus on this the way I was in the past.

Snow coming down big time today. Break this week, but will spend as much time as possible down in the studio. Today would not have been a studio day anyway, because we have a delivery coming. Time to finally get the taxes done I guess!
