Overbought silken tofu, so it's smoothie time: tofu, soymilk, frozen blackberries, frozen banana slices, and flaxseed meal. Plenty of protein and fiber to start the day

Why yes, this is skiable. Why do you ask? Had to pick our way carefully and even take our skis off 2 or 3 times, but it was a great day. 25th trip up -- I'll take that for the season.

Yet another version of "Musgo Soup" here. Akin to a Zuppa Toscana, but cauliflower-based with vegan sausage and the addition of cashew cream for some richness and cooked barley for a little starch. Made a ton, so will have to freeze some

I keep saying back to tracking, then don't do it. I'll say it again in hopes it sticks this time.
Between travel and depression, weight is way up. Depression, I believe, is the larger factor. I have a tendency to seek anything, ANYTHING to lift my mood even if it's not healthy. Along with that comes a tendency to abuse caffeine even more than usual.
In addition, I landed a small (one article) freelance writing gig, and rediscovered my tendency to nervous-snack when writing. This assignment might open doors, so if I want to pursue writing in retirement, I need to overcome this or at least switch to raw veggies.
Also realizing vegetarian or pescetarian is more realistic for me than trying to go full-out vegan. At least when traveling.
In good news, just got back from a fabulous poetry workshop and am so energized by it. 😊
