Happy happy positive Saturday….
It rained most of yesterday due to the hurricane down south along with a lot of strong winds, but at the moment it’s pretty quiet hopefully the rain is over….
We played bingo yesterday… Linda won four times and one of the guys here when he passed her in the hall called her the bingo queen….. and then told her that he had one 5×1 day…. And laughed about it…. On the days that it’s not vending machine bingo, which is on a Saturday we win tickets that we can turn in at the Country store here and we can buy shampoo .. toilet paperl. Kleenexes… food… combs… just odds and ends to keep us from needing to go to Walmart for basic things…. Linda stocked up on toilet paper….. how do you get two rows or a ticket…..
Today is vending machine bingo, which is candy bars soda crap…. Lol.
Just another day to pick and cheese from the food menu downstairs in the cafeteria… but I did hear two little ladies talking the other day when we were at the trivia contest and they were talking about how bad the food was at the hedges wood. They were out. It was kind of funny to find out that not just here at all Heritage Woods that the food is great as it was before it came here ……

Happy happy positive Friday
This morning is starting out with rain from the hurricane down south….
Yesterday, Linda, myself and to other women, we’re taking by bus by two other staff members to a trivia contest.. I waited too long to get in and so I had to be a spectator… Linda and the other two women went through two rounds of 15 questions getting a perfect score… they were up against five teams have four out of table… at the end of the two rounds there were only three tables left one being Linda‘s table… and then went into sudden death of which the questions were no longer ask off the sheets they had given everyone to study. Yeah the question came from the ladies phone sudden death lasted three questions and Linda‘s table came in third…. I was so proud of her and the other two women all the studying Linda and I had done over the last several weeks had really paid off…. There won’t be another contest until next year I can see why I’m tired and all I did was watch…
Bingo later today… because it was put off yesterday because of trivia contest… I’m hoping by then I’ll be more rested and ready to play…
I’m so proud of Linda because yesterday morning she was talking all negative about well. She didn’t know if she was prepared or not…. Maybe someone that’s always positive got grouchy with her…. Trying to express to her that being negative didn’t win contest, and I knew that she knew the answers to the questions that we had studied…. She wasn’t confident and should have been…. Something that a lot of us go through not believing in ourselves…. And a lot of the not believing in ourselves is taught to us in our early years…. And not being positive every day….. I have seen Linda grow so much over the last year both mentally and healthy… Her depression has gotten so much better over the last year… and her good issues have improved so much…. I’m just so proud of her….

Happy happy positive Thursday..
I went to bed early last night because my sinuses were worse yesterday than normal… And naturally, I’m up at 4:30 because I’ve had my sleep…
Today is the day that Linda and I and her three others travel to a different heritage woods to have a trivia contest.. Here where we at there are just three contestants… Linda has been studying for several weeks with my help and with the questions and answers on my iPad to help her study… I can’t read the questions from the sheets that she has or the answers until I took pictures of all the questions and answers and put them on my iPad so that I can help her study… she’s come along way. She missed very few of what was on the sheets last night and if the other two women are as sharp as she is, they should blow right through this several years ago this heritage woods went all the way to state in the trivia contest…. I’m excited for her and for the other two as well… I learned a lot, just helping her…. Lol.
I’ve noticed that listening to the podcast. I’m like a sponge something that I noticed when I helped her she was like a sponge soaking up every thing she learned…l.
We’ve been getting quite a bit of rain off the hurricane down south with more on the way we need the rain and at the same time the farmers are trying to get their crops out of the field for the winter…

Happy happy positive Wednesday
Yesterday was a busy day and I just never got around to journaling
Today I’m running behind as usual too many things going on some days like that
Seems like the weeks just passed by so quick anymore. I’m not sure why…
It makes for a past week here it is Wednesday already almost another month again… another month gone summer is almost over winter is on the way. Where did the summer go?…

Happy happy positive Monday
It’s raining here today… I guess we need it… the farmers are probably happy…
I had roast yesterday for lunch and that was it. I’ve been passing since then and after having looked at today’s lunch, I’m not sure I’m eating today either…. it’s always pick and choose and try to eat the healthy way which for me is always challenging…… living here where healthy eating isn’t part of the program… It is slowly changing however there is just so many carbs so much starch and most every meal because it’s cheaper…
I sit at a table with five other women, one of which is Linda… one of the ladies that plays dominoes with us, walked by the table this morning, asking if I was keeping my haram under control.. we had to laugh Linda and I because the lady has dementia but she’s still funny and what she says you never know what’s gonna come out of her mouth even Domino’s.. or bingo she’s sharpens his attack and at the same time when you tell her what day it is one minute later, you’re telling her again… hang up she always makes a smile with what she says…..
The plan today is to move with walking inside something. I’ve been lacking on lately because it just been too hot inside to walk with a cooler temperature today. I plan on moving around a little bit more….
