Not sure how today is gonna go. I am gonna be super busy and I am not sure if I will have time to exercise. I was supposed to be off work today but got called in. After work I have to go to Jefferson City to my Grandparents house for dinner. I am worried about this cuz they do not eat healthy. They are from the country so everything they cook is fried in grease and smothered in gravy. I am gonna eat a small meal before I go so that maybe I won't eat as much. I am hoping they do not have dessert because that is my weakness.
In other news, tomorrow is my birthday and I am so happy about how supportive my parents are of me. We are going to the river and having a weanie roast. My Mom bought me turkey dogs, baked chips and she is making me an angel food cake instead of a regular b-day cake!! This makes soooo happy because they are helping me take care of myself so that I can be around for many more b-days!!

Today was a good day!! I ate well and exercised! I am sooo motivated this week! I know that I will make it to my goal if I stay this focused.

Well I am off to great start today! Had a good breakfast and then walked 3 miles!! Got to get in some housework and laundry today so that will help w/ the exercise.

Dieter's Prayer
Lord, my soul is ripped with riot
incited by my wicked diet.
"We are what we eat," said a wise old man!
And, Lord, if that's true, I'm a garbage can !
I want to rise on Judgment Day, that's plain,
But, at my present weight, I'll need a crane.
So grant me strength, that I may not fall
Into the clutches of cholesterol !
At margarine I'll never mutter
For the road to hell is paved with butter.
And cream is cursed, and cake is awful,
And Satan lurks in every waffle !
Give me this day my daily slice,
But cut it thin and toast it twice.
I beg upon my dimpled knees,
Deliver me from jujubes please !
And when my days of dieting are done,
And my war with Snickers bars is won,
Let me stand with the heavenly throng,
In a shining robe...size seven, long !
I can do it, Lord, if You'll show to me,
The virtues of lettuce and celery.
Teach me the evil of mayonnaise...
Of pasta a la Milanaise, potatoes a la Lyonnaise...

Down 4 lbs. this week!!!!! Hip hip hooray!! had a great day today. Followed diet well and did some intense yard work(mowing up and down hills w/ a push mower)! Didn't get to walk today because it started raining right when I got ready to walk! Bummer!
