losing 1.5 lb a week

Well it has been a week and a day and I have lost 2.4 lbs! This has been so hard and I felt like quitting many times but seeing that dip on the chart has given me new resolve :)
Exercising is hard and I don't know how to motivate myself. There is nowhere to walk around here. I have a total gym but with two babies the only time I would be able to use it is while they are sleeping but that is the only time I have to get things done so even though I know I should I hate to do it then.
Anyway I have found during calorie counting that pasta is my biggest love but worst enemy lol. So I got a spiral slicer. I love veggies so it won't be a problem eating like that but I know it won't be the same so I will still miss my pasta! :D

losing 2.1 lb a week

Today I am feeling better already. I am still really hungry but nowhere near like yesterday.
So I am doing Slim Fast temporarily just to jump start things, at which point I will just eat more sensibly. But I am wondering how long I should do the Slim Fast for? It says you can lose 1-2 lbs a week so I am thinking I will have to do a month at the very least but I really don't know if I can hang that long! The cappucino one is horrible, btw. Tastes like it was made with burnt coffee beans.

First day of my diet done. I have no self control when it comes to food and no willpower so I'm pretty proud of how I did. Only got 20 min. of exercise in so I hope I can figure out a better way to fit it in. Very difficult with a 1 and 2 year old!
I've never dealt with weight issues before so all the information and calorie counting is a little overwhelming. I figure once I've been doing this a while, I will have just learned how to eat better without having to actually count calories. Is that a thing?? lol
