Anyone Fall off the wagon and lose track of how long it was?
yes! A break always helps. I'm not sure about a three month break but breaks are definitely good for numerous reasons.

I would also look into Calorie Cycling. You know how to use the Google.
Calorie cycling only works for metabolism if you throw in a day or days of a calories surplus.
It's not like your body gets set on an exact calorie total. We don't have a built in calculator, and if you keep up with a deficit even a small ones, metabolism will get lower.
Russell,
Scenario:
You're trying to lose weight. You have a consistent calorie deficit everyday and your body is going into "starvation mode".
I would think calorie cycling and taking a higher amount of calories for several days and letting your bosy gradually adjust to it, then going back to your deficit would be healthier than having a spike day and just jacking your body up wih a flood of calories all in one day.
What are your thoughts?
