Right weight for you body
I'm 5'6" and when I was on Weight Watcher, They had a chart of Healthy Weight Ranges. For 5'6" Female Your Healthy Weight Range is 124 (BMI 20) to 155 (BMI 25). I found 130 to be a good weight for myself, so I feel you are targeting the right goal number. Over the past year I got down to 120 and that was too thin for me. 125 - 130 is my Target range to stay in.
Keep your eye on your long term goal. My short term goals were the "9"s 149, 139, 129... Nothing is as sweet as dropping weight into a lower number!!

Hello Buddies!
You are headed on the right track for a 50+ person with Atkins/low carbs and cutting out wine. I'm 55 and I dropped 30 lbs from July - Oct. The first 10 dropped easily. The second 10 was harder and then for some reason the last 10 dropped off fast. My advice: Go at least 3-4 days with No carbs at all. Then when you bring some back in, only for your evening meals. And listen to your stomach - stop when you are full! Also go to

and put your info into the chart and check how many calories you should be eating a day to lose weight - VERY HELPFUL! Now I live in the 120 - 125 range and feel amazing!
