Depression and anxiety= overeating?
Thank you everyone, I just always feel stressed that sometimes its a bit too much to handle. Discrimination against LGBT alone and the fact that I can't speak up alone kind of puts me down. Just letting it all out on this forum helped a bit. The breathing does help and so does the exercise I stood up and did it even though I didn't feel like it. My mood is still a bit off but I'm gonna stay positive until things get better

Depression and anxiety= overeating?
OK so I just turned 19! yay me!
Life was going great, I lost 5 kgs from I first started dieting and watching what I eat.
I also have a girlfriend now that I love more than ever however 2 days ago she became ill and I just feel very depressed, I worry about her all the time and there's an inforced curfew at 7pm in Egypt where I live so I barely go out except maybe for like 5 min walks to the supermarket.
In the past, I'd take a small piece of dark chocolate whenever I'm down but now I just don't even feel like eating healthy or excercising. I ate pizza yesterday and chocolate and I overeat. It makes me feel better temporarily but I'm fed up of it and just want to know if any of you have been in a similar situation and please..
How do you deal with it????

Now do you want to go completely vegan for a day or strict vegetarian?
Good luck! I say YAY to vegan eating just make sure to have some blood work done to ensure that you do not have any deficiencies.
Completely vegan, its just for a day per week so I think I can manage. Also I already know I'm anemic and take supplements

Insulin Resistance Diet - Best kept secret out there
That idea is pretty interesting but isn't it just another way of portion control?
There's only one thing I know for a fact, if you burn more calories than you consume then you lose weight so obviously stuffing your face with huge proportions will be unhealthy and lead to weight gain.
No matter how "healthy" the food is.
