I have tried lots of diets but usually don't really keep with it long enough to make any real progress. I love food!! Love to cook and bake!! And I own an ice cream store where the ice cream is made right in the store so it is always fresh and delicious. Anyway, I am reasonably active with 2 young boys but really need to loose 100 lbs to be comfortable. I have always been heavy and am sick of it! My whole family is on not just a diet but a real change in the way we look at food, the quantities we eat and the fact that dessert is not a given after every dinner. I want my boys to grow up healthy with a good relationship with food, not the boredom eating, stress eating, overeating just because I enjoy it, desserts ALWAYS, etc. I really really want to be able to shop in stores that carry regular sizes!!

Anyone need to lose over 100LBS???
I'm new to this forum and reasonably new to this site. My goal now is to loose 100 but that still leaves me at 180 and I should be about 150. I have never been under 180 as an adult so just getting back there would be great. My husband and boys are also trying to loose so maybe it will be easier this time because we are all in it together, although, my husband only has about 50 to loose and he lost 12 lbs the first week... what is it with men? Anyway, we are trying to change the quantity of what we eat and make better meals. The only thing really missing is exercise. I hate it. Anyone have something they love, don't really have the $ to join a gym. Any ideas on finding a walking buddy in my area?

Small steps is the only way to go.

Much luck.. Colleen
