After a much needed break in Edinburgh, back home to snow ❄️ and ice 🧊. Need to curb the eating with my eyes habit I have developed. Interesting how quickly good habits deteriorate and bad habits stick. Time to get back to a healthier lifestyle and looking forward to reading all your inspirational posts to get me started again. There’s always time for coffee on cold wintry days. I will hop on the scales tomorrow🫣. Have a few days away in Edinburgh next week, but going to try and get a grip before December comes round.

TGIF FS😊. Weight gain not unexpected but did have a little cry. Now to try and do better today. It’s frustrating when you gain weight but convince yourself you can just about squeeze into things! I have a mini break at the end of this month and would be good to get back down to 57.6kg before then if I can. I’ve fallen out of love with intermittent fasting. It was what really helped me the first time round. Those of you still doing a version of IF, how do you stop the boredom and fatigue setting in? I’ve also noticed I’m just not drinking enough water and weirdly am not enjoying the taste of water…😅🫣

Hello FS, how are you all on this rainy Sunday? It’s been less than 10 days since the funeral but it feels like a lifetime has passed. The immediate aftermath was really difficult, balancing a very intense work schedule and grief. I thought work would be distracting but it really wasn’t. I then had a workshop this week and a bit of a mini break which has helped to me to regain some perspective. The fragility of life scares me, yet makes me more determined to make each day count. Some maladaptive coping mechanisms crept in, hence the weight gain. But I’m back in this space and trying to get back some normalcy both with food and headspace. Take care everyone 😊.
