losing 5.1 lb a week
12 June 2016
Only 1kg lost since last weigh in. My plan was to lose a bit before I started my exercise plan and I now realise that the time has come. Going to start this week. Sticking to the low carb diet no problem. I am never hungry with this but a couple of times I have been peckish after getting home from work. So if it's too early for dinner I have had a tin of Tuna or grilled mackerel to put me on. Zero carbs and full of omega 3.

losing 1.1 lb a week

Only 2 kg lost this last week but I think I might know why. I have a good breakfast in a morning at work and it fills me for the day. I have been having fried bacon x4, sausage x4, microwaved tomato x1 and a bucket of scrambled eggs made with double cream. I fry the bacon and sausage the night before and take them into work in tin foil. Then I give them a short blast in the micro at work along side the tomato. Finally, I micro the 3 eggs and one egg volume equivalent double cream and put out a plate full. Looks like the full plate that you have when it's free in a hotel.
As far as preparing this at work, it actually takes about five minutes which is shorter than the return walk to the canteen. But I use part of my unpaid lunch to be fair to my employer. As you can imagine I don,t eat again until night time. To be honest, I don,t need to because I am full all day long.
Then about 21:30 I will cut up a large chicken breast into 1.5 cm cubes, slice 1 full pepper, half an onion and a good hand full of mushrooms and again fry them up adding soy sauce at the end. Again a proper plate full, and again full, I have my double Bailey's ice and then bed.
If anyone is concerned about my two full fried plates a day, well my cholesterol is about 5.9 and my blood sugar is about 5.7 mmmols. (Despite my size I am not diabetic yet). I have never been any good at diets and I don,t think that this is going to kill me any faster than the 22 stone I had got to.
I might be completely wrong, crazy to take this route. But there is one overdriding point about what I am trying. It's easy to stick to. 5kg in two weeks is better than I have ever done and I haven't even started exercising yet.
Please note: This blog is in no way a recommendation for anyone else. I could be barking up the wrong tree. I am merely writing it so that all the info is there for people to compare against or laugh at.
Finally,I said I think I know what went a bit wrong this week. I need to lose the sausage.
But I bought three packs from Aldi!
