I am married (21 years) to a man who makes me laugh every day, and I am totally in love with my four children (one of whom is married, and three of whom are teenagers). Having teenagers is loads of fun, by the way--don't let it scare you.

I work at a full service salon as a nail technician, and after losing 40 pounds so far, I am training for a mini triathlon this summer.

I love that quote, Kat! There is no such thing as cheating--only choices. Awesome! Yes, I would love to hear how your arm band works (how accurate it is). I looked it up online and it's about half the price of Body Bugg!! At least the last time I checked Body Bugg...

Success on the Homeotherapdic HCG Diet!
I am on the original hcg, but I am not doing injections. I mix my hcg with liquid b12 and colloidal silver. I'm just wondering, how much does the spray cost? Do you ever have problems with hunger? And is everything the same as far as following the protocol (like having 2 load days, doing 23 to 45 day rounds, etc.)?

I pay about $17 for a two week supply (or $27 for a 4 week). My first round was about 5 weeks long, and my subsequent rounds have lasted only 3 to 4 weeks--mainly because it's just so hard to stay on it for any longer. Even though I have no hunger, I just get cravings and get tired of the food.

But I'm usually happy with the weight I've lost, so I just get on to P3.

I'm glad to have found others who are doing hcg here. My mom and sister have been doing this with me the whole way. We've each done four rounds together, and my sister has lost 65 (she had over 100 to lose to start) I'm down 42 so far, and my mom is down 40. I still have a week and a half left in this round and hope to lose at least 4 more.

Good luck, fellow hcg-ers! Smile

Star Glow, congrats on your weight loss so far! Glad to have found another hcg-er on here! Too bad I didn't get here sooner to help back you up here! Poor thing, you're being steam-rolled by these people here!

One of the first things I saw when I joined this site was the graph on the diets page showing the amount of members' weight loss according to the diet they were using. The hcg bar was double the size of any other diet listed, and triple the size of some diets! The proof is in the pudding.

Good luck as you continue! Hang in there, I know it gets hard sometimes. I'm going another two weeks on P2. Soon as I figure out how to add friends or buddies (or whatever) on here, I'll add you! Smile

Understandably, those here bashing the hcg diet are not completely educated about how it works. I have lost 40 lbs on the hcg diet and have KEPT IT OFF when I wasn't on it. I started last July and kept it off through the holidays, and now I am on it again.

It DOES sound too good to be true, but it absolutely IS true. My sister has lost 62 lbs and my mom has lost over 30 (we've been doing it together all the way through. After seeing our success, my cousin joined us and has dropped over 30, then my uncle joined in and lost 40 lbs in six weeks, and my aunt has lost 15.

The secret is in the hcg--it's a hormone and was the reason women in concentration camps (after WWII) could give birth to normal weight babies in spite of their emaciated state. The hcg pulls from your fat stores (NOT your muscle), giving you the nutrients you need (which is why only 500 cals is needed).

You all can bust your butts on whatever diet you want and lose your pound a week if you want, but I'll take my 3-5 lbs a week, thanks. And I see no reason to be so negative toward those of us who are promoting hcg. We have truly found the WEIGHT LOSS CURE and want to share it with others who have struggled with weight issues the same way we have.

No one can tell me I'm not healthy. I am a vegetarian, I stay away from milk and cheese, and I eat only whole, unprocessed foods, and nothing pre-packaged. I make everything from scratch (haven't bought a loaf of bread in nearly a year). Also, I am training for a sprint triathlon WHILE on my hcg diet, with no problems with weakness whatsoever.

This diet is NOT Kimkins, and does not work without the hormone hcg (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). And you don't have to do the 500 calories for life--it's temporary.

The hormone resets your hypothalamus, which is the hunger center of your brain, and after a round of hcg, you no longer have the constant foods cravings you had before. (Which is how I went through the holidays maintaining my weight)...And no, I didn't diet or count calories during that time. I ate what I wanted.

It worked for me, and I will never do another diet as long as I live.

Rally to Improve My Fat Secret
I used to pay for StartYourDiet.com. I loved all the charts and graphs they had. But I just don't want to pay anymore.

New to this website so I'm still learning my way around, but so far it's awesome! I love how you can add your recipes and get the nutrition info, because I cook a lot of vegan recipes. I don't eat any pre-packaged food, so being able to get calorie counts for my foods is awesome!
