Happy Monday all!! It is a beautiful day in Charleston , SC and I am full of energy. I finished my first month back at Keto at 276 lbs (that is a 19lb loss). There were several tough days when that darn scale did not move, but I knew I was losing inches and feeling better and still eating food I enjoy. With the start of month 2 I'm trying to up my activity (I did not move as much as I wanted in the first month). I am already of to a good start (11,000 steps/ 5 miles yesterday and almost at 10,000 steps today) My original goal was to do 30 mins of walking 5 days a week, but that put a lot of pressure on me...some days I just don't feel like moving (and that is okay). So for right now I"m aiming for 50,000 steps a week. I am posting some pics from the weekend and also some front/side views of me today (sorry I took some before pics in my undies ,but don't feel comfy posting them...I will try to take new photos every month in this same outfit), yummy food I've eaten this past month, my treadmill workout today (I accomplished this while in a meeting),hangin with baby Yoda (don't care what his real name is this is what I'm calling him), and some funny photos to make you laugh. Enjoy and Keto on!! Thank you all again for your encouragement and support...it really does help!!!

So it was a weigh in and measurements day for me....I was up 5 lbs from Sat (water weight I know because I've been staying low carb and in my calorie range) but it is still hard to see such an increase..m in used to a lb or 3...but 5!!!??? I also did not lose any inches this week. Fri will be my month...so we shall see. I'm doing an egg day today to trick my body into letting go of these pounds.

Had a great week as far as the scale was concerned (6lb loss)...after 10 days of it not moving at all or moving up. It is a cold and rainy day in Charleston so I thought I would make some soup. So happy I did... https://thatlowcarblife.com/low-carb-zuppa-toscana/ . Still working on adding exercise into my life again...I hurt my back a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to let it heal a bit....but next week I'm going to try to take some walks or get on the treadmill. Next Fri will be a month back on the Keto lifestyle....it has been a great success ...so far
