If you have a weak stomach, stop reading now, skip to the second paragraph. I'm just documenting everything that happens in my health day to day and I did not see a forum for this topic. Last night I went to bed at 3am or 4am; my schedule is still completely off. Then, power went out for a few seconds at 7:30am which must have triggered the highly technologically advanced fire and carbon monoxide detector in the apartment which is extremely loud and kept beeping and saying, "FIRE." Even taking the batteries out would not stop it, so we ended up calling the fire department to ask for advice, and they came and pulled it off the ceiling. There was no fire, which we already knew, and they checked carbon monoxide levels in the house, all is well. So I went to sleep sometime after that and woke up at 2pm. As usual, I drank my caffeinated Indian style chai tea and stretched and did some light exercise. I went to the bathroom some time after that and noticed blood on the tissue paper after my bowel movement and looked in the toilet to see a significant amount of bright red blood with my stool. Freaked me out, a lot! (It was from my anus, not another hole). I have a history of stress, anxiety and upset stomach, even had a colonoscopy done January 2014 after having a lot of intestinal problems (they didn't find anything). I simply have a sensitive stomach.
So I decided, after being freaked out today, that I would stop drinking my caffeinated tea because I know caffeine is related to stress for me, even though most people do not have a problem with moderate caffeine intake. So, this is my open pledge to be caffeine free, for at least a few months to see if it helps me become healthier and feel better!

I haven't lost any weight yet, but I have been exercising more, so hopefully I've at least gained some muscle. My sleep schedule is still off and I've felt nauseated for the past few days on and off, so I'm going to stop taking some of my daily vitamins to see if that's the cause.

I went to exercise at the gym yesterday evening and this morning before sunrise! Feels good, but my sleep schedule is flipped upside down and I tried to go to bed early last night at 9:30pm and ended up staying up until 8am working on some projects.
