Yesterday was a lot of fun. Dad took me on a nature walk. Once I got over my fear of falling off the rocks, I had a good time. The view from the top of the cave was gorgeous. When we were done with the walk, we had a picnic supper. It all felt very healthy and I was happy.
I'm glad I decided to get back on track with my weight loss. I'm already feeling healthier and happier. Did anybody notice what a beautiful day it is today? Well, I'm going to go enjoy it.

Today's the day I go back on my diet.
I've been putting this off for a while. I kept using excuses like: "I've had a rough day," and "I don't feel well" to keep from exercising. I've been binge eating again as well, mostly on cookies and pudding. I'm pretty ashamed of myself, and I feel
gross.
So today's the day I take charge of that.
I danced for a while today and went walking with my dad. After calorie counting for the first time in months I discovered that I stayed within my 2,000 calorie plan. It's not a bad first day. But I want tomorrow to be a
great
second day.

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a sixteen year old who's been struggling with her weight since 3rd grade.
Let me repeat that... 3rd grade.
I have low self esteem because I was bullied (because of my weight.)
On a happier note: I am a solid christian and I volunteer weekly. I love animals and more than anything I love to make people smile.
So, today I splurged a little bit. My Mammaw (my grandmother on my mother's side) sent me a huge box of kisses not too long ago. Also, my boyfriend gave me a big 'ol box of Russel Stewart chocolates on Valentine's day. So I have a plentiful supply around.
I had a couple kisses extra than I probably should have. Also had burgers for supper. Dieting and I haven't really seen eye to eye at all this month, to be honest.
Which is why I need to get back in the swing of things. It's gotten to the point where I'm eating mindlessly again. I'm an emotional eater. The thing is, it doesn't make since that I've been splurging. I've been perfectly happy for two weeks straight.
Question of the day: Why am I splurging when I have no reason to? I need help on this one.
