hi Trish, Change is in your future! the pie graph at the bottom of the journal could be very useful for you to see how the carbs are going each day. veggies are pretty important and soup can be your friend.
Thanks for the encouragement, I do enjoy soup. I could not find the pie graph you mentioned.

I'm 68 and was told 3 weeks ago I am pre-diabetic. I've started on a low carb diet 165-210 carbs per day, and 1400-1600 calories. I need to lose 80+lbs., if I want to be healthy. I'm trying, and have promised myself I will start exercising after the New Year. My goal for Dec., has been just to get the diet down. I have always been a meat and potatoes kind of eater, and I do love my sweets, so this is all quite a challenge especially since I am not that fond of vegetables. Are there others who have struggled with this, and how have you made it work for you? Trish

We need better fast food options
One of my new favorites for a fast food restaurant is Panera Bread. There web site has all the nutrition info for all their meals.
https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/home.html.
I love their soups, salads, and power menu.
