I can't decide between reasonably well and poorly for how I followed the diet. If I compare myself to how I was doing in January to June, I am doing poorly because I was very srict then. If I compare myself to how I used to eat before I started the diet, I am doing really well.
Yesterday, co workers brought in tons of snacks. I resisted until the next shift brought in HOT brownies. Argh, I had 2 and then also had a bite of the cheesecake from 1st shift!! Before I left I ate a small handfull of POTATO chips, yuck I hate potatos now. What was I thinking?
Oh well, back to good eating today. Nothing but whole grains, low fat meat and good fruits/veggies!
Made whole wheat low fat banana muffins last night. Yum! This morning splurged on whole wheat pancakes and turkey bacon.

Help halloween candy is taking my will power away! My coworkers and kids are tempting me! (Kids are 3&5 so not their fault.) What do you do to avoid temptation now that the holidays are slamming in at full force?
One day I asked a coworker to eat or hide some candy in the breakroom. God love her, she hid it from me. I came back to eat it an hour later and it was gone. She was my angel that day. If I see it, I obsess about it until I eat it.
I do fine at home because usually I don't keep the things I don't really want to eat.
I've gained a pound this week! I don't want to go down the path of regaining now that I have lost 20 lbs. I'm contemplating phase 1 again, but can't imagine that hell again.
Any phase 2 or 3 ers out there with words of encouragement or advice?

Ok, I actually started this diet in January 2007. My beginning weight was 179lbs. I lost 11 lbs during phse 1 (first 14 LONG days.) After that, weight loss was 1-2 lbs per week. Stall occured during the summer and multiple vacations. Hoping to get back to losing. Goal is 130lbs. Currently at 155lbs. Considering doing phase 1 again for a jumo start. I just can't prepare myself mentally for the hard work. All the mega cooking.
We are in a rut of grilled meats- chicken, steak, sirloin burgers. Everyonce in a while we do turkey chili.
Diet is getting boring- making it easier to cheat too much.
Here to find new inspiring recipes that are easy and fast.
2 kids in activities everyday make it hard to follow phase 1!
