Just a quicky........what a strange week.....

I haven't been on the scales the last couple of days, except for Friday night - after eating out at an Indian restaurant and one day after SUnt FLo made an unwelcome return....I'd gone up by EIGHT lbs! Needless to say I'm not logging that one! I usually weigh first thing in the morning so I'll do that tomorrow.

I've let myself down big time by not eating healthily this holiday and I don't feel good about it. The last couple of days I have done more walking, in fact the last three days really.....and today I'm in work but I've been making healthy choices in terms of my food.

As for Aunt Flo, I'm at a loss for words. As I mentioned in my journals a couple of weeks ago I had an unscheduled mid-cycle visit from her......something very unusual for me. I wrongly thought that may mean I may be slightly later than planned now and that it may be a little lighter than normal too.......I can honestly say I've never known anything quite like it. I'm SO bloated, it's SO painful and it's like there's just no end to it, I'm uncomfortable lying in bed at night;.....sorry, hope taht's not too much info for anyone...... Anyway, I'm hoping things will start to calm down in the next day or so so that I can work out what I actually weigh and work to lessen it!!!

Will be walking again this week as I still am waiting for my car......not long to go now!!!! YAY!!!

The roller coaster ride continues but for now at least I'm heading down rather than climbing!

It's been an odd kind of week, all things considered and I haven't had things in the house to make my eating habits particularly healthy. I have, however, mainly managed to stick to my points. I think there were two days when I have gone over (one MAJORLY over) but on most of the other days I have come in with spare points.

I have been doing a fair amount of walking again, although due to the weather, I haven't done as much as in previous week. I haven't calculated my bonus points as this would probably encourage me to eat them so my exercise is just logged in minutes and distances on my journal.

I am still finding writing everything down - with a pen no less(!) to be helping. I find it works better for me that way.

This coming week will be another trying and tempting one as the school holidays have rolled around again meaning I have both my son and husband home. This means the routine is out the window and as we will be having some days out it can be difficult to find healthy options.

Still I will do my best. I'm at my lowest for a long time and I want to get into the 160's very soon!!!!!

I just realised that I havnen't recorded a journal entry for a few days - oops!

Aunt Flo has gone again - to return who knows when! The whole thing was rather bizarre and more than a little unsettling really. The dr said not to worry and see how things go - so that's what I'm going to do :)

The weekend was, sadly, a bit of a gorge-fest! Again, it was circumstance driven really.....my Dad was visiting from Spain so we just grabbed lunch on Saturday and have a couple of toasted tea cakes, then because we were out of routine we ended up having a chippy tea. Sunday - 12 hours in work of course - which went fine but then on my way home I got a message that my dh had a tummy upset. He normally cooks for when I get home....but wasnt' up to it. So I stopped off for a McDonalds on the way home. I had a veggie deli - on brown - no cheese and a low fat blueberry muffin so it could have been worse - but it wasn't ideal!

By Monday morning I'd put 1.5lbs on by this morning I've got it all off again and of course Aunt Flo's antics didn't help!

I'm all back to normal now and feeling much better. I'm walking a lot again this week - no choice there really!!

We'll have to see what the scales say tomorrow :)
