I am a 32 year old mom of 2 young girls, ages 4 and 8. I work full time and in the last 4 years have gained 70 lbs. I'm going on Atkins to lose the weight. Induction starts Sept 1 :)

Hi Laceybug! I'm just (re)starting my journey to the fit, slender woman I know is under my fatsuit! We can do it, like Gaelle B said, one lb at a time, one day at a time, and remember, YOU are worth the effort and sacrifice!

Hi! Day 2 of Induction today :)
Hi Everyone!
I'm a 32 year old working mom, with 2 young daughters. I have had trouble with low-fat, low-cal (high carb) diets in the past, and have once again reached my heaviest weight. I have started the Atkins WOE, and today is day 2 of induction. I am so surprised at how low my calorie count is! I have been eating all these rich, meaty delicious foods and am full, yet am stuggling to reach 1600 calories a day! I am down 5.5 lbs (From 8/31) and am so excited
I have about 100 lbs to lose so am planning on staying on induction for a while. Hope to get to know people doing the same thing as I am!
