cholesterol
In my research and from my own experience, my cholesterol levels got better when I was eating eggs but limiting sugar and white (bread, potatoes, etc). Low carb for me has been good. Raised my good cholesterol, lowered my bad. When I go "off", I see it rise.

National Chain Restaurants
Sometimes Cracker Barrel can have great options also. They used to have a section that really spelled out the low carb options but they have been willing to modify (leave off buns, change out veggies) for me when I've asked.
