I have been slacking a little bit. But ... I bought an ellipitcal machine and I have noticed that my calves and thighs are getting toned which is a GREAT thing. I have gained three pounds (at least that is what the scale says ... even though I weighed myself with clothes on at 11AM instead of with nothing on at 7AM ... I will weigh myself tomorrow) which could be attributed to I am gaining muscle. I don't know. I am kind of down about it because I don't think I have ever weighed that much before. Once May gets here I will get to walking 3 miles in the morning and doing the usual 500 calories on the ellipitcal. On weekends I will be trying to amp up the calories to 800. See how that takes me. We will see. Wish me luck.

DAY 1

I am feeling pretty stoaked up this whole weight loss thing. I feel like I need to do it for myself even though everone around me says that I look fine. I don't know, the whole thing about not fitting in jeans that I fit in two summers ago throws me for a loop. I guess I let myself go since I started my job a year ago, but no more. I refuse to let my weight get the best of me.
Anyway, if anyone out there needs a friend or is goign through the same thing, don't hesitate to add me as a buddy. I am hear to talk and to help anyone if they are having a hard time keeping the weight down or even getting motivated.
