Today was the first day that I actually stayed with my diet plan. I don't know what it was, it was kind of like something just clicked for me and I now seem to be back on track. I just hope that this doesn't mean that I will fall off my diet just as easily. I actually had a good day all around. I think partly due to the fact that I am finally doing something good for myself.

I haven't really lost any weight yet, but that is because I haven't been able to get into the frame of mind to start my eating plan. However, I think I am ready now. A friend of mine who is also doing Weight watchers said they had some new things to use. So yesterday (Sat) I went and got a new food journal and the new points calculator. I know it sounds wierd but I think those two little things were just what I needed to jump start my motivation.

I am most concerned with the weight around my middle. I'm wondering what is the best way to get rid of that fat? Are there certain exercises I should do? When I do lose the weight will I be somewhat toned, or will it be gross extra skin? This is the part of my body that is motivating me to do something about my weight.

Today is my first day of trying once again to lose this weight. I have already changed the types of foods I eat. I now need to change the portions and to somehow get myselft to start exercising again. Five years ago, I was walking 3 miles a day. I am having a hard time making myself exercise again.
