The yard work is apparently paying off in spades. 😅 Hope this is not just a temporary drop but I am staying positive.
Got some good news at work today. It is more responsibilities but a good thing regardless. I love to be challenged.

Feels good to finally hit that 150 range (even if it’s barely 😅) for the first time in years. About 15 lbs to go until my first goal that I’ve held for like 20 years now. It’s been a long time coming.

Registered for the Midnight Sun Run next weekend. It’s a 10k that I try to walk in every year. They do it Solstice weekend and it’s from 10pm to midnight. Usually pretty fun unless it’s rainy. ☀️

Have been doing lots of neighborhood walks with my daughter and also short strength training workouts. I had to order some medium shirts because my old ones are too big now.

Yeah. That was a tough back yard. My hands are still vibrating from the mower 😅 I started last night after work and finished this morning. I’m gonna be feeling it tomorrow.

Haven’t checked in for a bit so here I am! ☺️ Things are going fair and summer is in full swing. I have been spending more time outdoors and trying to prioritize rest, too!
I went to an outdoor music event at the botanical gardens they do every week here with friends and my daughter. It was relaxing and fun but got cut short due to rain. I’ll try again this week.
I had to mow the front yard again this weekend and admit I haven’t touched the backyard at all. It’s going to be tough when I finally do. Eek. But the mowing has been admittedly enjoyable in some strange way. lol
