I'm so glad I'm half way through my diet. Today is
Day 8 of 14/28
. I feel like I'm going to definitely have better, healthier eating habits. My body is definitely detoxing all of the junk I was putting in it.
Right now, I'm trying out two recipes from the
Eat Well on $4/Day: Good and Cheap
by Leanne Brown. I'm trying the
Roasting Vegetables
and the
Smoky and Spicy Roasted Cauliflower
. So far, it's smelling really good.
I almost threw away two big heads of cauliflowers because of aphids (which look like tiny spiders). Thankfully, one of them didn't look infested at all. I'm throwing the infested one away because of reading that they are very hard to get off and leave a sticky residue.
Yeah, too much work for me.
Plus, it seems that they are attracted to foods that may be decomposing in the first place. I was almost about to roast them, thankfully I didn't!

Today is
Day 5 of 14/28
being on my new diet/challenge. I'm so surprised that it's not as hard as I thought it would be. Each day is becoming easier for me. Believing in myself is powerful, but I didn't know it could feel this powerful.
I am my own person and have my own decisions to make. People may have their own opinions, but it should not change me if I know what I am doing is good. If I have a passion for something, I should go after it but of course with a good mindset. It may make people upset or hurt, but they should realize
I am not 'them' and they are not 'me'
. I am my own human being and I have a body I need to take care of. There are things they went after even though people were doubting or saying no, they still went after them.
Now that I'm my own adult, it's my time to
shine
. May I leave my fears and worries behind!
Go after your dreams! Be ambitious and believe!

So, today is
Day 4 of 14/28
. I'm still going strong and persistent. I actually feel much better and more energized today. My headache is gone as well. I guess my body is getting used to my new eating habits. I definitely can say because of the positive energy from here and believing in myself uplifted me into wanting to keep going. I'm so glad I found this website and that I'm taking control of my health and body. I hope you all are staying strong and having a wonderful day!
