I think I may have overeaten today. I had two unidentified, homemade caramel brownies for lunch that I may have underscored for calories, but I can't be certain. They were very rich and moist, so I'm going to guess I probably went over. They were a gift to me from a co-worker, who I helped out over the weekend. I'm not going to turn down a gift, especially when it looks so delicious!
So, whatev. I'll just pick up again tomorrow. I enjoyed them and it was worth it. ^_^

Recently I've been experiencing some hunger pangs in the morning and early afternoon. I didn't have them the first few weeks of the diet, but now I am. I usually work an afternoon shift at the library, which involves a good amount of physical exertion. I've been eating two 200 calorie snacks in the morning, usually at around 8 AM and 11 AM. At least one of those snacks has some sort of protein in it. Then I go to work and have a 400 calorie snack on my break, at around 3 PM, and then I have a 600 calorie meal when I get home and some sort of snack afterward to finish off my calories.
I don't want to eat more earlier, because in the evenings, my boyfriend and I have dinner together, and it isn't practical to have a 400 calorie meal most nights, especially since we sometimes go out for dinner.
Because I've got an eating schedule, it isn't hard to just stick it out through the hunger and wait for the next scheduled meal or snack. I've got the will-power.
I may just allocate an extra 100 calories to the morning, but I'll have to find something easy that fits into 100 calories, since most of my easy snacks are 200.

Feeling less compelled to write journal entries now that I'm a five weeks into my diet. Still recording everything I eat. Just don't feel so necessary to comment on it.
Although I did pick up some matcha yesterday, as a gift to my boyfriend (and me), so we'll be enjoying that soon.

Have you ever thrown up just a Tums? I had that joyful experience last night.
Last night, between the enchiladas and the cupcake, something didn't sit well on my stomach. I ended up getting up in the middle of the night and throwing it all up. Bleh. So then I took a tums, thinking it would help get rid of the taste and maybe settle my stomach. No. An hour later, I spent a good amount of time throwing up acidic foam.
I may end up calling in sick to work today.
In other news, my weigh-in looks good. I finally hit the 5 lb lost mark.
