Yesterday, the only sweets I had were mid-afternoon, some yogurt pretzels and a bite from an energy bar. I gave the rest to my wife, who is skinny and looked like she wanted it. :) When I wanted something sweet at night, I went for my 3rd yogurt.
Had a good amount of fruit and fat free yogurt. Started off the day with cereal and a bowl of strawberries - that bowl of strawberries to key; it prevents me from overeating whatever else I'm eating.
I've learned a lot from reading lately that transfats and saturated fats are really bad for you, which are basically meat/dairy fats and processed fats in sweets and candy. I guess the only good fats are vegetable fats, fish fats, nut fats... So I'm trying to cut out red or fatty meat altogether, as well as all sweets. I love Great Value fat free turkey slices! Very filling in a sandwich. I also love their fat free yogurt.
