TGIF! I know you're all with me. I'm so ready for the weekend. No big plans, just cleaning, but ready to get some good sleep I hope.
My son is having a sleepover with a few of his friends on Saturday. We usually end up getting pizza when he has them over because it's just easy to feed a bunch of teenage boys pizza, you know they all can have something they like. They want to have a night of playing video games before school starts next Friday. I'm trying to think of something else besides pizza that they might like and that I can stay healthy eating, but I'm not coming up with anything.
I've been battling hunger all week, so I'm struggling with keeping my eating clean. I'm managing, but I'm afraid I'll overindulge this weekend when I'm home. Hopefully the hunger just gets better, today it seems to be a bit better, maybe I'm over the hump.

I was so hungry all day yesterday, I don't know if it's the workouts upping intensity a bit this week or what, but my stomach was growling. I ate over my RDI yesterday, but I didn't eat too horribly, a few tortilla chips was probably the worst thing I had. Today I brought myself an extra snack of fruit so that I would hopefully not be as ravenous. So far I'm doing okay.
I'm going to try to stick to my plan as much as possible this round. I want to see some strength gains and maybe see some more muscle. I'm excited to see how I've changed by the end, even if it's just a few inches, I've already improved my confidence and upped my weights, so I'm proud of that.
Not much else going on in my world. Have a great Thursday!!

Man, have I been hungry today. I'm glad I've been working so I only have my healthy food options. I hate days like this where your stomach is growling all day, but I know I've fed myself. Oh well, I know I'm not starving myself, so I'll be fine, just have to eat more veggies with dinner I guess.
Other than being hungry all day, not much else going on. Work, exercise, eat, family time, repeat every day. Tomorrow my daughter starts school. She'll be a Junior this year and I'm not ready for her to be this close to being done. I guess that's what happens when you blink. My son starts next Friday and he's excited because he'll be an 8th grader, so the big dogs in middle school. Summer break always goes by so fast, but I'm ready for Fall, so bring on school!

I remembered to weigh myself this morning and I'm down, so that's good. I try not to go too much by the scale anymore because it seems like there's just so much that can put you up and down each day, but it is nice to see a loss.
I started the second phase of my workout program yesterday and I feel like the first week is always the learning curve and I don't get as good of a workout because I don't know the moves. It is nice to be a third of the way through though and know that I'll only get better and stronger.
Not much else for me. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

Not much weight lost on my program so far and I didn't get my official weigh-in done, so I'll try to do it tomorrow or wait until next week. I took my measurements though and overall I've lost just over 3 inches in the last month. Even if the scale isn't moving a lot, at least I know I'm doing something right.
Even doing the right things, I did eat poorly over the weekend. Saturday was my brother's wedding and they did really simple foods, just hot dogs, fried chicken and salads. I opted for the hot dog because I don't like fried chicken, and ate a tiny helping of salads and beans, then I did eat a cupcake too. I did two workouts on Saturday so I'm not going to beat myself up too much for indulging. Sunday we went out to lunch with my BIL for his birthday. I really didn't get much activity in to counter that, but at least I didn't snack like crazy yesterday or overeat at dinner, so again, I'm not going to beat myself up. Life happens. I've got my planned foods for the week, so I'm just going to try to stay on track.
Today is day one of new workouts with my program, so I'm excited to see what I'll be doing and if I can go up even higher with my weights. I bought some 20 lb dumbbells over the weekend, so I'm going to try those out I'm sure at some point this week. We'll see if I have more inches lost next month.
