I was trying to get a better feel for how many calories I'm burning and I found this article: http://www.fitday.com/fitness-articles/fitness/weight-loss/calories-burned-doing-household-chores.html
Wow, I know I've been under reporting my calories burned for sure! I mean I have friggin sweat pouring off me at times when I'm making soap and I know I'm burning more than what I had found (92 an hour for cooking) than that! This article makes me realize I burn more than I think I do! Holy cow! I make the bed every day and do a million other things throughout the day. And when I type and work on paperwork, I'm up and down and running out to the shop to check this or that and back to the laptop and running out to the mailbox and on and on.
I got my calories down yesterday and felt fine. I was up finishing some soap at 1:00 am and didn't get to sleep until 3:30-I finally got up and drank a half glass of milk with a teaspoon of pure maple syrup and that knocked me out like a light!
Sometimes I have really awful insomnia. I go through relaxation techniques and EFT and energy exercises and deep breathing. Sometimes I give up and take a Tylenol PM. I hate to do that! I'm wondering if I'm low in something. I did run out of my Calm (magnesium calcium supplement) Maybe I need to reorder that. I've tried numerous things in the past but it has always been due to a lack someplace in my nutrients that kept me wide awake. Time to poke around and figure it out, I'm tired of not being able to go to sleep.

What a week it's been and it's only Wednesday! Gah! I never realized butter had so many calories, I was doing fine until I added that today. I put some butter on my bread. Oh well, I'll remember next time...The scale finally came down today! I hope I didn't screw things up by eating butter...*sigh* Still learning how to count these calories. Times creeping by, time to get more active and get back below 1200 a day. Cheers!

Wow yesterday was so busy! And I was up til 2:30am trying to get some stuff finished for today. Crazy! I made tags and bagged some soaps in preparation for our trip to Louisville. Hopefully Marty can sell my dad's 50 hp motor and cross that off the list. I'd rather stay home and make soap, I need to get more made, since I was sick I haven't done much soap making...Time's a wasting! Gotta shake a leg and get some ideas in the molds. My weight went up slightly but I've been so sick I kind of expected my body to do some catch up. :) My morning Bullet shake is smoother than it has been. I got some new almond milk and that is the only thing different. I may have found a new item I like! Oh and last night I found, drum-roll please, Dreamscape Tea (Oregon Chai Company)! No one has that in Louisville!!!!!!! I found it at a Kroger in Bowling Green-marked for clearance! Yippee! I bought all they had, 3 whole boxes! I have 59 teabags to enjoy! (Yes I used one already- :P ) LOL! Happy day and happy eating to all! Get out there and get busy!
