For the past few days, I was weighing in at 167, 168. Last night, we didn't have anything set out for dinner and I let hubby win and we had fast food (Sonic chicken wings and fries). I know I should be happy to still see progress overall, but I am just mad about the 1-2 lb increase in one day. 😔 I have been trying so hard for a bigger drop... oh well I guess... live and learn.

I have a really good loss week, and then I have a more normal one to balance it out. 😩 I splurged too much this week. Had a large blizzard on Tuesday, popcorn on Wednesday and yesterday and overate at dinner last night too. Oh well... Slow progress is better than no progress! Oh - I also *officially* hit 20 lbs lost this week. 7 weeks and I'm already down 20.4 lbs... that's insane to me!!

Well, not the greatest weigh in this week, only down 0.8 lbs. But what that tells me is that I lost all the easy weight - now I have stubborn fat and it's not going to just fall off me anymore. I need to work harder!
Also, I had the best Non-Scale Victory this morning while getting dressed for work. I haven't worn slacks in a week or so, and I went to grab a pair of my size 16s, and they were SO loose and baggy. Probably had an extra inch or two at my waist. So, I grabbed a pair of size 12s that were hanging new with tags in my closet that I had bought a loooong time ago in case I ever got skinny enough to wear them. I almost returned them so many times, but I didn't. I tried them on and they FIT LIKE A GLOVE! Not a great weigh in, but still making progress. :)

I had two goals for myself this month: the first was to run a mile, straight, without intervals or stopping. I did that on Wednesday, after 4 weeks of not running. When I had last tried (4 weeks ago) I could only do half of a mile before I had to stop. BUT, I finally ran a mile again, for the first time in over 2 years this week.
My second goal was to weigh somewhere in the 170s by the end of the month. I hit that mark around the 10th, so I changed that to be 175 by the end of the month. Here I am, 8 days left in September at 175.2. I am down 15.6 lbs in 4 weeks and I couldn't be more proud, or happy with where I am at. :) I am now only 6 lbs away from my prepregnancy weight (169), which I didn't plan to meet until my son turned 1 in November. Of course, I wasn't happy with my body back then either, so I am sure I won't stop there.
Time to keep setting goals and crushing them!
