74 year old retired nurse. Wife and mother of daughter and son. 2 granddaughters.
I am eating mostly veggies & fruits and small amounts of meats and fats. No special diet. Tailored to me and my nutritional needs and peace and joy. I try to maximize nutritional value and fiber in most of what I eat.
I have post polio syndrome in my left lower leg (from oral polio vaccine) and it has developed into a complete foot drop. I use a walker sometimes and think about getting an AFO. For exercise I walk, do calisthenics, dance around with my walker. Try to be active and positive.
I enjoy the fat secret site. It is the best food logger and journal that I have found. It works for me. I do weigh and measure food.

no salt added, no fat added
This may have been mentioned, but I don't know how to search the posts.
I LOVE fatsecret except for one thing. I do not EVER add salt or fat to anything I cook for myself and all of the listings have salt and/or fat added. WHY? I need to be able to chart vegetables, rice, meat, etc with no salt added.
I have tried adding No salt added and no fat added to the search, but just rarely one actually comes up. This is very frustrating. I would like an accurate account of what I am eating.
Can someone help?

How do I create a new food in the database? For instance, a bread that I bought and cannot find it in the base.
