🎉🎉🎉Yep, so this happened 🎉🎉🎉 It actually happened last week but I forgot to log it here 😀 My 'in my wildest dreams' goal weight reached. My BMI is still in the overweight range for a female of my height/age... but I don't mind. I know that I'm carrying quite a lot of weight in loose skin that used to support the extra 83kg on my body!!! This is the end of week two with increased daily calorie intake - 1300 per day average (over the week). Continue to do intermittent fasting, 14/10 weekdays and 18/6 on weekends to support my goal to not start late night snacking again and to give my body time to digest food properly, balance sugars etc at least once in 24hrs.

Starting back into the word of carbs with a serve of wheat pasta. For a while I will test the waters with a half serve, if I need more I will bump with Konjac or Slendier low carb noodles. I'm interested to see if it kicks in my 'hunger hormones' !!!

A couple of weeks into life with a few more calories / carbs each day... so far all I've managed to do is swap out some of my lean chicken breast for corn kernels or carrot sticks 😀 I've modified my monthly meal plan to include pasta next week... it'll be the first time I've had it in nearly two years... Hopefully it won't open the door to me over indulging like I used to (regularly having seconds of pasta dishes 😬)

Hallelujah 🙏 After a full month of 66.1 to 66.9 - finally have hit 65.8... I think my body has determined my stopping point for now 😀 This month I have seen a second dietitian to get some advice about learning to maintain my weight and she has advised that I shift my macros initially before increasing my calories too much. More carbs and less protein 🤯 I will not pretend that it is not challenging my brain after 18 months retraining and getting such great weight loss results with 1200 Cals, 40% Protein (120g+), 30% Carbs (90g).
Initial daily targets now;
Cals ⬆️ 1250-1300,
Protein ⬇️ 100g
Carbs ⬆️ 120g
Fats - 35-40g
Water - 3lt
Sleep - 8.5hrs+
VERY NERVOUS !!! Don't want the weight to go back on, nor the diabetes to return!!! Just going slow, like I did to lose the weight!!!
3 monthly trial to next blood test.
Also started taking 600mg calcium/day and reducing wkly protein supplements.

Starting to add in a few (very short) jog/ run sprints into my walks (when I feel no-one is looking 😁). It is helping to burn more calories, but on the other hand, I have sustained my first sports related injury since pre pubescence... gravel rash on the palms bad enough to require a nurse to scrub out the chunks embedded deeper than I was willing to dig ... a very humbling experience at my stage in life 😃
